Biography

Filmmaker Francisco Ordoñez
On the set of “The Low End Theory”

Francisco Ordoñez is a Los Angeles-based writer-director whose work is grounded in psychological realism, a love for antiheroes, and the forces that draw ordinary people into extraordinary circumstances.

He directed the feature The Sweetest Kill, released internationally in 2026 through Stonecutter Media, and was story consultant and co-producer on the Lionsgate thriller Imperium, starring Daniel Radcliffe.

A graduate of Columbia University’s MFA Film Directing program, he has directed shorts including Cookie, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, and his Columbia thesis film St. Paul, which won multiple festival awards.
